Insurance and the City

Construction of tall, sustainable buildings, and/or urban development, challenges traditional methods of project delivery. We're utilizing new and sometimes untested building materials and construction techniques, using state-of-the-art technology for coordination and scheduling purposes. Our tall buildings are also reaching unprecedented new heights and incorporating an increasing diversity of functions. This is an exciting time in the industry and the movement is on the fast track, however there are multiple risk management and insurance issues increasingly being faced by the industry. This presentation will give an overview of some of these new challenges.
